Sunday Asefon, president of the National Association of Nigerian Students, has vowed to secure Justice for Timothy Adegoke, the murdered of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU.

Adegoke, a Master’s Degree student at the University, travelled all the way from Abuja to write his papers at the OAU Distance Learning Centre in Moro, Osun on the 5th November.

The student, who lodged at Hilton Hotels and Resort, Ile-Ife on the 7th November. He was however declared missing_only to be found dead later.

There are claims that he was murdered.

Addressing the issue on Wednesday at an event at the University of Lagos, Asefon disclosed plans to schedule a meeting with Usman Baba, the Inspector-General of Police, in Abuja over the matter.

The NANS president described the incident as an “Injury To All,” he also said his association of comrades will earnestly fight until Justice is secured.

“In the next two hours I will be with the Inspector General (IG), in Abuja on the issue of our brother that was murdered in Obafemi Awolowo University,” he said.

“And some people believe that they can do everything but we can tell them that an injury to one is an injury to all. If you don’t fight, you would not win but if you fight you will surely win.”

According to the law enforcement agents, the owner of the business entreprise and hotel where Timothy lodged, Ramon Adedoyin, including six accomplices to the crime, has been arrested.

Williams Abiodun, the lawyer to Adedoyin, had also claimed that staff of his client’s hotel hid the corpse of Adegoke for fear of being arrested.
