Ex Minister of Police Affairs, Mr. Jelil Adesiyan has stated that the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is less qualified to stall the intention of the people of Osun to bring Governor Gboyega Oyetola for second term.

He said it is expedient to disabuse the minds of the Osun people against the half-truths, misinformation of the Osun Progressives, TOP, an internal and splinter group sponsored by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. The group according to Adesiyan was wired to tarnish the image of the incumbent administration in the state.

The Ex Osun Governor has been tolerated for so long a time by the incumbent administration, according to the Ex Police Commissioner.

He has been tolerated with silence, not even when his former aide had been courageous enough to brag on his failure in office.

Adesiyan, the ex Police Commissioner took up the Minister via a WhatsApp broadcast, reinstating that it was high time for the good people of the state to know the truth.

Apparently referring to a recent radio interview of Senator Basiru Ajibola with respect to activities of The Osun Progressive (TOP)
”This is what you should have been doing to sensitise the public, to expose his dubious behaviours while in office.

“If you have done so and call him for accountability he won’t have time for formation of TOP.

“These people plundered the commonwealth of Osun people, destabilised the current government with dubious debt burden, if not for the ingenuity of the current Governor, it would have been business as usual.

“Those who were with Aregbeshola for 8years in government wanted to continue for another 8years without giving chances to new hands, common, was that normal and possible.? Call Aregbesola to come and account for his stewardship. Let us stop their bragging, Aregbesola was never the best for Osun state. He is a misfit.” Adesiyan said.
