Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has pleaded not guilty to the amended charges against him by the Federal Government.

He was today arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja over charges of treasonable felony and terrorism which the Federal Government amended last week to amount to a seven-count charge.

During the hearing, the court refused his application for transfer to Kuje Correctional Centre from the Department of State Services, DSS, premises where he has been held.

However, the trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako, allowed three persons of his choice to visit him at the DSS location.

The press were denied entry into the courtroom by DSS
where Kanu’s case was heard.
The operatives insisted their action was based on “order from above”.

The case was then adjourned till November 10, 2021.
