The Spokesperson of the Lagos Chapter of the APC, Joe Igbokwe, has indicted the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB for the attack on his house in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The house reportedly set ablaze was traced to the embattled members of the IPOB, who were according to reports caught on camera entering in a vehicle at his residence in Anambra.
He confirmed doing fine after the attack, though has not set issues straight as to his location during the arson.
“IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now,” Mr Igbokwe, a top ruling party politician in Lagos, said on Facebook. “I am sure they raised down the my house giving the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV. To God be the glory.”
“I am still alive,” he added. “My study is my greatest regret.”
A policeman based in Awka has not reacted to requests to know whether the owner of the apartment, Igbokwe has reported the issue at the station of if the arsonists have been caught.
Mr Igbokwe’s disclosure came as reports emerged from Nnewi that headquarters of police and State Security Service in the community were torched by hoodlums chanting destruction of Nigerian flag. Several people were reportedly killed in the attack.
