One of the counsels to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra has publicly announced that his client has recently been barred from signing the form to be addressed to the British Consular for assistance.
The stoppage being traced to the men of the DSS, has according to Aloy Ejimako taken a cue from the illegal repatriation carried out by the Nigerian security troops in connivance with the government of Kenya.
The British Consulate has according to Ejimako signified interest in rescuing the fugitive leader of the Biafran people.
Kanu, a holder of dual citizenship currently cools his nerves in the cell of the Nigerian DSS. His trial is billed to resume anytime soon.
